The Final Countdown

A countdown to the end of history How many sermons have you heard about Jesus' second coming and the end of history? Not many? None? I'm not surprised. It's a subject people shy away from, partly because it seems so complex and partly because the subject has been a happy hunting ground for people who are cranky and obsessive. But it's a central aspect of the message of the Bible and of Christian belief and maybe it's time to take another look at it. I wondered if I could arrange the relevant passages from the Bible in such a way as to give a relatively simple and believable outline.
